Kuki Shinobu is a four-star Electro character introduced in the second half of the Genshin Impact 2.7 update, along with the Arataki Itto remake. This Kuki Shinobu building guide will explain the best team Kuki Shinobu combinations, weapons and artifact sets, including the Kuki Shinobu F2P guide. Kuki Shinobu occupies an interstitial space, as it works equally as an Electro sub-DPS or a processor. The construction method changes very little depending on the role you prefer.
Genshin Impact Kuki Shinobu Build
A Kuki Shinobu elemental explosion, the ritual of Gyoei Narukami Hariyama, causes massive electrical damage over a wide area for a short time. Her long-lasting skill, the Reverence Ring, supports her production by causing regular electrical damage in pulses every few seconds and healing the party as well. It’s also useful for creating elemental reactions and dealing complementary damage when Shinobu is inactive.
The Kuki Shinobu blast lasts only 2 seconds and has a relatively high energy cost of 60 and a cooldown time of 15 seconds.
While you can build your Shinobu around her blasting, the long cooldown timer means it’s not the most effective role for her. If you decide you want to focus on her exploding, be sure to boost Shinobu’s health as much as possible, as the damage is compounded with her health.
Unlike Sayu, Kuki Shinobu’s abilities allow her to heal and deal damage simultaneously, so you don’t have to meet certain conditions to get the effect you want.
Shinobu’s passive talent Heart break increases her skill’s healing by 75% of her item mastery and managing per second by 25% of her item mastery. This makes it one of the most important stats to focus on in Artifacts and Weapons.
Kuki Shinobu is basically a passive character and won’t be on the court for long. The general combat flow when you’re in your party will likely consist of switching her to use her blast, then using her skill, and transforming into your DPS.
The best companies of the Kuki Shinobu team
Whatever role you prefer for her, Kuki Shinobu works best as a supporting character in a group made up of at least one non-electric character with close-range elemental abilities. Below is our theory syntax, which we’ll update as soon as we can get hands-on with Kuki Shinobu.
- kamisato ayato
- Koki Shinobu
- kidhara kazuha
If you want to prioritize a Shinobu blast, or bursts from any other party member, consider swapping Yanfei or Kazuha for another Electro. The initial resonance effect creates an electrical particle every time you trigger an electrical reaction, making the Koki Shinobu Explosion much easier to recharge.
This team’s goal is to use Kuki Shinobu’s skill and then switch to Ayato and use his skill for Electro-charged chain reactions or to Yanfei and use her normal attacks to bind overload.
Kazha is just as important, if not more, on this team. If you equip him with a Viridescent Venerer set of four, turning on the Swirl reduces the enemy’s resistance to the Anemo-driven item. If that’s Hydro, for example, Ayato’s skill will deal increased damage to enemies, along with causing charged electrical reactions.
Xingqiu or Childe could fill the role of Ayato. Xingqiu’s Rain Swords also deal continuous water damage, while Childe’s skill allows him to deal water melee damage – albeit with a long cooldown timer. Similarly, you can replace Kazuha with sucrose or even sayo.
Best Shinobu Kouki Weapon
As a four-star character, Kuki Shinobu does not have a special weapon designed specifically for her. However, there are quite a few swords out there that match her skills perfectly.
The Freedom-Sworn Sword is a popular choice in the early theory industry thanks to its higher attack and even increased mastery of secondary items for players.
This secondary stat is a great fit for Kuki Shinobu due to Heart’s Repose talent – but the sword is awfully valuable to use on a mostly inactive four-star character.
If you have any other character who might benefit from it, we recommend not using the Freedom-Sworn Sword on Kuki Shinobu, especially since it won’t get much use from the high base attack stats.
Try the Iron Sting instead. This sword is a sword that you can forge, and its secondary forge for Elemental Mastery approaches the height of the Freedom Sword. Her passive skill increases all damage by 6%-12% when the user deals elemental damage.
Finally is the sacrificial sword, which is another natural fit for Kuki Shinobu. Their secondary stats increase energy recharge by 13% at base level, and a passive skill has a high chance of ending a user’s skill cooldown period after they receive a critical hit. Since Kuki Shinobu relies a lot on her skill, this is a solid choice although there is no effect on her mastery of items.
Name Minor Stat Passive skill: Mastery of the element of freedom by twisting the sword of freedom is part of the Millennium Movement that circulates in the wind. The destruction increases by 10~20%. When the character using this weapon fires elemental reactions, they gain the Sigil of Rebellion mark. This effect can be triggered once every 0.5 seconds and can be triggered even if this character is not on the field. When you possess 2 Settlers of Rebellion, they will all be consumed and all nearby party members will have the “Millennium Movement: Song of Resistance” for 12 seconds. “Millennium Movement: Song of Resistance” increases the damage of normal, charge and plunge attack by 16~32% and increases attack damage by 20~40%. Once this effect is turned on, you will not get Sigils of Rebellion for 20 seconds. Among the many influences of the Millennium Movement, no buffs of the same type will stack up. Iron sting element mastery increases base damage of all damage by 6~12% for 6 seconds. Max 2 stack. It can only happen once every 1 second. Recharging sacrificial sword energy after dealing damage to an opponent with an elemental skill, the skill has a 40~80% chance of finishing its CD. It can only happen once every 30~16 seconds. Best Artifacts of Kuki Shinobu
Artifacts are where Kuki Shinobu’s builds are likely to vary depending on whether you prioritize electrical damage or healing, and there are several winning combinations that you can modify according to your style.
The blast-oriented Kuki Shinobu will benefit from two Thundering Fury pieces (+15% electrical damage) and the two-piece Noblesse Oblige set (+20% elemental explosion damage). As the dash expands with the HP of Kuki Shinobu, focus on artifacts that boost the user’s HP.
Alternatively, you can use Millelith’s Tenacity 2-piece set to increase Shinobu’s health by 20% instead of Thundering Fury.
As a healer, Kuki Shinobu will benefit from swapping the Noblesse Oblige for a set of Maiden’s Beloved or Ocean-Hued Clam, both of which increase healing by 15%.
The best set for building a complete style with a little something for every style is the Tenacity of the Milleleith Four Piece Set.
Set two-piece effect Four-piece cohesion effect Millilith raises health by 20% When an elemental skill collides with an opponent, the attack of all nearby team members increases by 20% and their shield strength increases by 30% for 3 seconds. This effect can be triggered once every 0.5 seconds. This effect can still be triggered even when the character using this artifact set is not on the field.
Millelith’s full set improves Shinobu’s blast and perfectly matches the strategy of using her blast, using her skill, then switching to do more damage to your main DPS. It’s especially useful considering how long the Kuki Shinobu skill remains in effect.
Building Kuki Shinobu F2P
The build of the F2P Kuki Shinobu is almost identical to that of the paid one thanks to the Iron Sting being a crafted weapon. If anything, it will result in a slightly better balanced build. The sword boosts her skill damage and healing effects, leaving you free to use the full Millelith deck to increase her blast damage and polish the remainder of the aprty.
