Fake Rick Ross Show Tickets Flood Zimbabwe Market
ROAR Entertainment, organizers of the Rick Ross premiere in Zimbabwe, have issued a ticket fraud alert.
It comes after a fraudulent website was created by an Instagram account that allegedly sold tickets to the Grammy-nominated rapper’s Zimbabwe show.
An Instagram account has set up an event on Eventbrite. Eventbrite is an event management and ticketing website service that allows users to browse, create and promote local events.
Rick Ross is scheduled to perform in Zimbabwe on November 18 at the Harare International Conference Center (HICC).
In an interview with a local newspaper, Zimbuzz, ROAR Entertainment spokeswoman Ms. Shaley said she would announce the official payment platform in due course and urged Rick Ross fans not to risk losing money by buying fake Rick Ross tickets online.
She urged people to be aware of these scams, which she said have become rampant on social media. Mrs. Shali said:
We will officially publish our ticket information on our social media handles and website as well as real media organizations. We urge people to look out for these scams as they have become rampant on social media.

This led ROAR Entertainment, the show’s organizers, to release a statement saying they would explain and justify their pricing.
Early Bird tickets are pegged at $50 per person and $150 for VIPs and will be available until August 31.
The VVIP Silver ticket costs $3000 while the VVIP Gold ticket costs $4000.
The biggest of them all is the VVIP Platinum ticket which costs $5,000 USD and some Zimbabweans have been surprised.
