After losing 3-0 against Brazil on Friday night at the Stade Oceane in Le Havre, France, the Black Stars suffered their sixth loss of the season.
Tite’s team won thanks to a brace from Ricarlison and another from Marquingos.
In the game’s 19th minute, Raphinha’s corner cross was met by Marquinhos, who rose to meet it at the highest point.
Richarlison scored the winning goal for the Black Stars ten minutes later, following a well-executed Brazilian build-up, by shooting past Jojo Wollacott in goal.
Even after giving up two goals in the first thirty minutes, Ghana appeared nonexistent.
Brazil added a third goal, making it 3-0, when Richarlison once again scored off a Neymar corner kick. Brazil did this to capitalize on Ghana’s lack of initiative.
The team of Otto Addo entered halftime down by three goals.
After the intermission, Addo introduced Mohammed Salisu and Inaki Williams, who were both making their debuts after changing their nationalities.
Inaki made some impressive runs down the right throughout the first 15 minutes of the half, giving Ghana a dynamic appearance, but they were unable to take advantage of their few opportunities to score.
The Black Stars were up to the task in terms of defense and kept the Brazilians, who continued to threaten.
The game finished 3-0 because they were unable to add to the three goals they had already scored during the first 45 minutes.
Following the match in France, the Black Stars’ losing streak against the Selecao continues.
Tuesday’s match will be Addo’s team’s second of this current international period against Nicaragua.
