She-Hulk: Attorney at Law (Season 1) Episode 6, Recap & Ending, Explained:
It hasn’t happened yet.
Yes, talking about the most significant selling point of She-Hulk: Attorney of Law, Charlie Cox’s Daredevil/Matt Murdock hasn’t made an appearance in the latest episode, which is rather surprising considering he teased his entry at the end of the last episode.
Instead of that, we get an episode where the rivalry between Titania (Jameela Jamil) and Jen/She-Hulk escalates further with a subplot where Mallory and Nikki deal with the divorce settlement of a new client Craig Hollis/Mr. Immortal (played by David Pasquesi) literally kills himself and returns to life to escape any confrontation with his spouse.
She-Hulk: Attorney at Law (Season 1) Episode 6: Recap
Jen receives a wedding invitation from her childhood friend Lulu (Patti Harrison), where she is supposed to be a bridesmaid. After announcing to the audience that this is going to be a self-contained wedding episode, she reaches the venue as She-Hulk while wearing a new dress designed by Luke. Everyone is excited to see her, but Lulu asks Jen to be in her human form so that her bridal thunder doesn’t get taken.
At the wedding, Jen gets really drunk, meets a guy named Josh (Trevor Salter), and eventually hits it off with him. Jen’s runtime at the wedding is cut short with the arrival of Titania, who’s not ready to let anything go and wants to humiliate Jen by creating a ruckus.
Meanwhile, Mallory and Nikki deal with a client called Mr. Immortal, who is having some divorce-related trouble. They soon find out that this person can literally die and come back to life, and that is how he keeps escaping from his spouse. Chaos breaks out when all his spouses start to voice their grievances and demands, but Nikki intervenes and quickly comes up with a solution to defuse this situation.
She-Hulk: Attorney at Law (Season 1) Episode 6: Ending Explained
At the wedding, a fight breaks out between Titania and Jen. A drunken Lulu walks in, and to Jen’s surprise, she is excited to see Jen in She-Hulk form. Initially reluctant because of promising Lulu, Jen ultimately takes the She-Hulk form to beat Titania. Before leaving, Titania again declares that it is far from over.
While hanging out after successfully handling the case of Mr. Immortal, Mallory and Nikki find a website called Intelligence containing lots of hate messages against She-Hulk. Mallory asks Nikki not to bother Jen about it because it is nothing but some internet trolls, according to her. Nikki, however, blurts it all out to Jen, but both of them don’t seem to be that bothered.
BATMAN IN CINEMA: EXTREMELY BLACK YET INCREDIBLY COLORFUL
In the final scene, we see a group of people working in a lab, and super-sized needles are being made. None of their faces or any other details is revealed.
Now, it is all but certain that this mysterious group of people are of no good intentions and want to hurt Jen/She-Hulk, and they are most likely going to be the big bad of the show. Matt Murdock/Daredevil will probably be an ally of Jen in the fight against these people, but that will not be enough to save this show. The needles are going to be strong enough to pierce through the skin of She-Hulk. But the problem is, it all seems too sketchy and underdeveloped to be anything unless there is some brilliant writing over the last three episodes. Given the progression so far, that is unlikely.
In Marvel Comics, the Intelligencia group comprises some of the most sinister minds on earth, and the main purpose is to share information between criminal geniuses. The introduction of this group will most likely be a big deal for the future of MCU. Although, given the nature of this show, speculations can always fail.
We hope to find ourselves in a rather satisfying and less confusing state by the end of next week’s episode.
