Here are some free tools you can use to transfer your playlists from Spotify to YouTube Music.
It’s quite possible that you are about to make the switch to YouTube Music from Spotify and do not want to leave your playlists behind, in that case, there are a few services that are going to help you do the transfer.
As per one of these sites, you’ll be able to create playlists no more than ten times every day because of Google’s apparent limit on the number of playlists that can be created.
You also have the option of keeping your music private or unlisted with each of these sites, so you’ll have to adjust the playlist settings manually.
Methods to Transfer Playlists from Spotify to YouTube Music
The Easy Method: Playlist Buddy
It is easy to transfer Spotify playlists to YouTube using Playlist Buddy. Despite the fast transfer, you can only move playlists one at a time, and playlists can only contain 300 tracks.
Once you log in using your Spotify credentials, you’ll be able to see your Spotify playlists.
Click Convert Playlist to YouTube after selecting the playlist you wish to convert, and enter your YouTube credentials to begin converting it. Playlist Buddy notifies you if not all tracks have been transferred but doesn’t tell you which songs aren’t in the list.
Also, you can export your lists as CSVs with Playlist Buddy.
For Unlimited Playlist Lengths: PlaylistConverter
Like Playlist Buddy, PlaylistConverter lets you transfer one playlist at a time, but unlike Playlist Buddy there is no limit to the number of songs. By clicking the Spotify tab, you can connect your Spotify account and select your Spotify playlists to convert.
This is a more complex three-step process, which can take some time if you have hundreds of songs on your list.
Choose your playlist first from the drop-down menu, and then wait for it to appear. After that, click Convert to YouTube. Log into your YouTube account to enter a new playlist name. After the conversion process is complete, PlaylistConverter will export your playlist to your YouTube account, and only then can you finally access YouTube Music.
While they convert, you can monitor the progress bar and track.
For Batch Playlist Transfers: TuneMyMusic
You can batch-move Spotify playlists using TuneMyMusic, a free service. Theoretically, you could transfer all of them in one go if Google didn’t limit each user to 10 playlists per day.
To start, choose Spotify as your source and click the Load from Spotify button or paste the Spotify playlist link.
Select YouTube as your destination, and click Start Moving My Music.
The progress bar in TuneMyMusic also shows you which tracks failed to transfer to YouTube as they are being transferred. The downside is that it can occasionally hang on us and stop transferring data, so we found it less reliable than the others listed here.
