The governor of Bauchi State, Bala Mohammed, on Sunday expressed concern over the increasing acts of terrorists and kidnappers in the state.
The governor, who spoke to reporters during a visit to his country Duguri who lives in the territory of the state’s native Aikaleri authority, said he had experienced sleepless nights at the actions of bandits and kidnappers in the state.
He visited the group to sympathize with residents during last week’s killing of a 75-year-old cattle farmer, Alhaji Katu Mai, in Shaffa village, Duguri District in Alkaleri LGA, by bandits.
Mohammed stated: “I have the sole honor of sympathizing with the individual Duguri, my city of residence for the loss of life of several individuals and the kidnapping of so many small children in this place.
