Netflix has released a new trailer for the upcoming second volume of Stranger Things the fourth season featured, of course, Kate Bush“Climb That Hill.”
This clip is soundtracked by a mash-up of the 1985 hit and synthwave Stranger Things the theme song sets the battle between our heroes in Hawkins and the villains Upside Down Vecna.
Since the first volume of the fourth season aired in May, “Running Up That Hill” has, well, gone up the charts. The song’s massive revival has propelled it into the top five in Billboard Hot 100, a career first for Bush, as well as #1 on the UK’s Official Singles Chart.
The usually shy Bush has issued several public statements about the new popularity of “Running Up That Hill”, most recently sharing, “I am overwhelmed by the scale of love and support the song is receiving and it all happened so fast, as if driven by some kind of elemental power.”
“I have to admit that I was very touched by it all,” he added.
Stranger Things 4: Vol. 2 premieres on Netflix, July 1.
