Paul is getting ready to release his film JugJugg Jeeyo, which is due out soon. Maniesh talks about the tough times he went through in his early years during a long conversation. Maniesh said that when he didn’t have enough money to pay the rent, his wife, Sanyukta Paul, got a job as a teacher and took care of their finances.
He said, “In 2008, I was unemployed for a year—I didn’t even have money to pay the rent. But, Sanyukta took care of everything. He would say, ‘Be patient—you will soon have a great opportunity.’ And a year later, it happened; I bagged a TV series. Things started to escalate – I went on to do reality shows & award nights. In 2011, we had a daughter & in 2016, a son. Finally, I am at a place where I can make time for Sanyukta & my kids. And it’s a rule that I don’t talk about table work.”
